Does Dying Light: The Beast support modding?

Modified on Thu, 25 Sep at 2:27 PM

Please note that Dying Light: The Beast officially does not support external mods. They will corrupt your save files and, eventually, break the game.

Aside from risking save file corruption and severely downgrading the performance of your game (you'll experience crashes, freezes and other issues due to modding), we especially do not recommend duplicating items, as they also degrade the player experience and may affect the difficulty level of the game - do it all at your own risk!

After uninstalling mods, their remnants can still be present in different directories, affecting the game. If your game has been modded, delete your Steam or Epic games, delete the launcher software itself, then re-install the Steam or Epic Games launcher (preferably to its default directory) and, finally, re-install your games on the same drive that the launcher software is installed on.
